There is a classic interview question: which superhero do you identify with, and how would you use those powers in your daily routine? My answer is Daredevil in Born Again, a story about losing everything, letting go of the illusion of control and choosing to be your best self even in your worst moments.

So on a day like this, I not only allow myself to close my eyes and let the memories flood me, beautiful memories that feel as vivid as when I experience them in those dreams that I have had being both awake and asleep.

You were my family and my love; I still live in that house even though you no longer live here.

Before the pandemic, I spent a significant part of my life training karate in the Liga de Karate de Bogotá, learning discipline, respect and perseverance. This is us: Club Chrysler, the club I trained with and the people I was closest to.
